Some Coffee House Tough Love…

As the countdown to Coffee House episode 9 closes in. I’ve just finished re-watching all 8 episodes. Here’s  some thoughts that just came to mind whilst watching it for the 3rd time around.

– It just clicked to me that while SY was just getting there (meaning, beginning to be as “abnormal” as JS is as seen from the sort of JS-mirror effect that EP4 implies), EY on the other hand is already there. From the conversation that EY and JS had in the phone booth in EP8, EY pointed out to JS that she’s become abnormal too ’cause she keeps on going out of her way to conform to his ways. I remember a scene wherein even SY notices how similarly unusual the two were and concluded that it’s not a wonder EY-JS are friends. The only difference between the so-called “abnormality” between EY and JS is that for EY she’s still somehow grounded to reality. She can somehow switch that “abnormality” ON/OFF button because Continue reading

Miss You Like Crazy…

Oh, how I miss writing something here! I guess the slump has something to do with having no Coffee House for what seem to be an endless two weeks. Okay, I made a promise to myself that I’ll only start watching Coffee House once episode 9 airs already but apparently that was an Epic Fail on my part. I “almost” managed to succeed what with watching Kang Ji Hwan’s old dramas during the past two weeks but then I saw this fanvid that was so apt for our EunSoo couple (Yep, EY-JS shipper all the way!). I guess that was one of the reasons that urged me to watch Coffee House despite avoiding it for so many weeks already. 🙂 Or, it might also be the fact that probably bits and pieces of the story is somewhat closer to home for me. I swear I think I played this fanvid more than a hundred times already! Then out of nowhere Continue reading

It’s such a coincidence that Dramabeans released an article about Fans speculate about Prosecutor Princess Season 2 and there I was contemplating on actually writing a fanfic about it. Basically, here’s the gist of what it may contain. I also wrote this as comment in the said article in Dramabeans.

“It starts off with MHR and SIW having a fabulous wedding at the ski lodge where they first met.

The conflict part would come in perhaps in an unfavorable circumstance for MHR’s parents such that they would have no choice  but to live with MHR and SIW temporarily. Old wounds gets opened etc….

A new guy very-like MHR in the beginning gets hired as one of the prosecutors and somehow gets infatuated with MHR and similar like MHR is clueless that she has a husband already. Jenny gets a case that unfortunately was assigned to this MHR-like new prosecutor guy. IW gets wind of this case, he plots with Jenny again to make this new prosecutor guy fall for Jenny so that the new prosecutor guy would leave MHR alone. When MHR finds about this, she gets angry and leaves their home and temporarily lives with SJ and JS. SIW soughts SJ’s help. They bond. MHR also has thing bonding thing with JS and Jenny. There the women find out that MHR was pregnant, hence the mood swings, etc. MHR and SIW patch things up and a few months later MHR goes into labor and had twins — a boy and a girl.”

What do you think?

What’s Up?

First and foremost, thanks to all those who visited and commented in my very first attempt on making an episode recap for a KDrama.

It’s kind of overwhelming and for that I love you all! 🙂

With that, I’m continuing with the succeeding recaps for My Country Calls. Yay!

I think I’ve found a systematic way of doing the recaps so that at least in 2 weeks time hopefully I’ll be able to catch up on the latest episodes.

Right now, I’ve finished with the snapshots until episode 4 so I’m quite positive I can at least be able to do 2 recaps provided no sudden urgent tasks (aka work) come my way this weekend. 🙂

For now, (Yes, still with the Prosecutor Princess withdrawal), I’ll leave you with a PP fanvid featuring Gummy’s latest single “As A Man”.

I like the melody and beat of the song, plus of course, Gummy’s voice! She’s just a terrific singer! Her voice always sounds the same either live, in an MV or when you play her CD. That’s how great she is!
