After having finished watching (and yes re-watching) Prosecutor Princess, I now find it difficult to find new dramas worth watching. I was thinking of trying Coffee House which by reading the recaps looks delightful to watch but then I want to wait until the 6th episode has aired and has already been recapped, if I want to push into that direction.
While in the lookout for a new drama that will fill my drama void now that Prosecutor Princess has ended, I decided that instead of just watching one that piques my interest, why not write an episode recap too. It’ll be a new experience for me plus hopefully others will enjoy and be encouraged of watching the drama as well.
Just like that my quest has begun. I searched Soompi and Viikii threads for new dramas that I might like, and I came upon my final choice, that is, My Country Calls (Yes, I know that the title is a bit trite). Anyways, I set aside two nights in a row to watch the the 6 episodes and personally, I liked it. The story seems cliched in a lot of ways but there’s some little surprises along the way that made watching it quite entertaining for me.
More or less I should be able to get started on it this weekend. For now, I’ll leave you with this short drama teaser.
Still with the happy endorphins here! Listening to Super Junior’s 4JIB and watching fanvids made for Prosecutor Princess surely makes my day complete!
Anyways, just want to make this short and sweet! Just want to share with you this absolutely awesome Super Junior Miinah (Bonamana) Collab Cover by Yoonha85 and Pumashock. For those who’s not familiar with them, Yoonha Hwang is a pianist who plays by ear, meaning without piano sheets (Kinda reminds me of Nodame from the Japanese manga Nodame Cantabile) and does KPOP and POP covers of famous artists. On the other hand, Natalie White aka Pumashock has been recently known due to her KPOP remix covers.

Moving on to my happy pill of the day, I just found this wonderful fanvid! This fanvid amazingly combined my two faves, Super Junior’s My All Is In You (song from their 4JIB) and Prosecutor Princess! What a great combo! It’s about letting go though you really don’t want to say goodbye. In Prosecutor Princess, In Woo doesn’t really want to let go of Hye Ri but since he’s made a promise to Hye Ri’s dad he has no choice but to fulfill that promise. On Hye Ri’s side of the fence, it was hard to be with the man (In Woo) who somehow indirectly caused her family’s (particularly her father’s) downfall. The In-Hye couple had so many memories together which makes it more difficult to let go. Hence, the song really suits them perfectly.
You be the judge. Watch the fanvid then see the drama! 🙂
Well, I’m back or that’s what I think. I’ve been sort of on hiatus for gosh… a month and a half! Well a lot of things happened! It’s a given that work occupied most of my days but then Super Junior happened…that is Super Junior Super Show 2! I’m still in withdrawal mode over that, when now they’re back on their 4JIB with Miinah (Bonomana). I can’t help but have a spaz attack over their new album specially when I’m actually hearing my name (okay, my nickname..Mina) when they’re singing the song! Sorry, fangirl mode here! See and hear for yourself. It’s just daebak!
Then I’ve been hooked on Oh! My Lady, because my fave Siwon stars in it well aside from Chae Rim who I adore as well. Plus, they casted that cute lovable little girl who stole everyone’s hearts!
Last but not least, I’ve been so captivated (okay, bordering on obsessed) by Prosecutor Princess which I came upon luckily while reading Oh! My Lady recaps at Dramabeans. I gave it a try after reading episodes 1-6 recaps and before I knew it by episode 7, I was already watching it live streaming with no subtitles at all! Yes, that’s how engrossed I became of this drama! I just love, love, love everything about it! The story, the cast specially the two main leads and the fashion!. Being some sort of a shoeholic myself, I’m just so fascinated with Hye Ri’s shoes! Not to mention, I was blown away by Kim So Yeon’s portrayal of Ma Hye Ri! Now, I can’t even imagine that she was that kickass agent in IRIS. Plus, who can deny the oozing Park Shi Hoo and Kim So Yeon chemistry? It even made stalking look perfectly delightfully cute and reasonably acceptable! I won’t tell the ending but a little spoiler though. Nothing can go wrong with muffins, Wonder Woman coupon, the alarm clock thingy, photo together and of course, the kiss!
I hope everyone will try and see this drama. It’s just so underrated!
